Bathla reduces to skeleton staff and stops construction work as lenders pull out

The initial round of emergency funding that kept parts of Bathla Group operating has been "exhausted".
Only one lender has chosen to continue to prop up the company.
Staff have been stood down, with just a skeleton crew remaining, while all construction work will cease.

Only a core team will be retained to support the ongoing administration, with administrators Teneo working with lenders on the orderly sale of Bathla's subdivision and land-bank sites.
The ABC understands 125 employees have been stood down, while 67 employees remain.
Support for sales and settlements will also cease.
