Bashblog – a single bash script to create blogs
Bashblog is a minimalist, single-script tool designed to create static blogs without complex dependencies or templating. It runs on standard Unix-like systems and allows users to publish content directly from a public server folder.
Why it matters
It offers a highly efficient, low-maintenance alternative for developers and power users who prefer static site generation over heavy content management systems.
I created it because I wanted a very, very simple way to post entries to a blog by using a public folder on my server, without any special requirements and dependencies. Works on GNU/Linux, OSX and BSD.
