Barcelona player ratings vs Real Madrid: Raphinha shines but Kylian Mbappe double sinks Hansi Flick's side

Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 2-1 in a high-stakes Clasico match, with Kylian Mbappe scoring twice. The result narrows the gap at the top of the La Liga table, ending Barcelona's winning streak.
Why it matters
The Clasico is one of the most significant fixtures in global sports, and this result directly impacts the La Liga title race.
Barcelona suffered their first La Liga defeat of the season as Kylian Mbappe's brace handed Real Madrid a 2-1 Clasico win at the Spotify Camp Nou, ending the hosts' run of nine straight wins and leaving their great rivals just three points behind.
Hansi Flick's side controlled 62 per cent of the ball and fired 17 shots, but Madrid struck against the run of play four minutes before half-time, when Gerard Martin's clearance ricocheted off Mbappe and into the net. Raphinha levelled in the 61st minute after a clever pass from Pedri, and Barcelona then pinned the visitors back in search of a winner, only for substitute Gabriel Jesus to lose possession in the 87th minute and Eduardo Camavinga to set up Mbappe for the decisive goal.
