Bapatla Collector seeks help of political parties for smooth conduct of SIR
Bapatla District Collector V. Vinod Kumar has urged political parties to assist in the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls. Officials are concerned about the low return rate of enumeration forms ahead of the July 14 deadline.

Bapatla District Collector V. Vinod Kumar on Thursday (July 9, 2026) appealed to political parties to coordinate with the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to ensure the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls is completed in a transparent, accurate and participatory manner.
Chairing an all-party meeting at the Collectorate, he reviewed the progress of the voter verification exercise and sought cooperation from all stakeholders.
The Collector said the SIR exercise was being conducted from June 15 to July 14, during which the 2002 electoral roll was being mapped with the 2025 electoral roll.
Enumeration forms have been distributed to every voter through BLOs, and electors have been urged to fill in and return the forms.
