Bank of India marks ‘Kisan Diwas’ with ₹117 cr. loan rollout

Bank of India, Visakhapatnam Zone, celebrated ‘Kisan Diwas 2026’ initiative. The annual event, which commemorates the bank’s nationalisation day on July 19, was organised across Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, and Tadepalligudem, S. Suresh, zonal in-charge (marketing) of the bank, said on Wednesday.
“The response was good, and our overall business was higher than the previous year,” Mr. Suresh told The Hindu . Established in 1906, the 120-year-old financial institution continues to hold a prominent position among the nation’s major commercial banks, he added.
