Bank of Ghana and SEC Warn Public Against Daily Wealth Guide Crypto Scam Using Mahama's

The Bank of Ghana and the Securities and Exchange Commission have issued a joint warning against a fraudulent crypto scheme called Daily Wealth Guide. The scammers are using a deepfake video of President John Dramani Mahama to falsely endorse the platform.

The Bank of Ghana (BoG) and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) have jointly warned Ghanaians to stay away from a crypto investment scheme operating under the name "Daily Wealth Guide", which they have described as fraudulent.
In a joint statement , the two regulatory bodies cautioned the public against depositing money with the operators of the platform, saying those behind it are engaged in illegal deposit-taking activities.
