Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Tuesday marked the 10 th anniversary of the Unified Payments Interface (UPI) by making a digital payment at a roadside tea stall in Karimnagar.
Mr. Sanjay, along with BJP corporators and party functionaries had tea at a stall in Chaitanyapuri. He subsequently paid the bill through UPI using his mobile phone, marking the decade of the digital payments platform.
Karimnagar Deputy Mayor Y. Sunil Rao and others were present.
