LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The woman accused of slamming her SUV into a Metro bus in Chatsworth, killing two people and injuring five others , was charged with second-degree murder.
Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman announced the charges against Bailee Rios , 36, of Simi Valley, during a news conference on Thursday. Additional charges include driving under the influence of a drug causing injury and reckless driving . If convicted as charged, she faces a maximum sentence of life in prison with the possibility of parole.
