Bagan becomes Bluebirds' latest international
Cardiff City footballer Joel Bagan has earned his first senior international cap for the Republic of Ireland. He joins teammate Jack Moylan in the national squad during the current Nations League campaign.

Cardiff City have added another international in their ranks after Joel Bagan won his first cap on the same night Bluebirds team-mate Jack Moyaln shone for the Republic of Ireland .
Full-back Bagan had won eight caps for Ireland's Under-21s but, despite becoming a Championship regular in south Wales, had yet to break into senior international football.
Injury ended hopes of that happening in the summer when he had to pull out of Heimir Hallgrimsson's squad following his first call-up.
But after being included for this batch of Nations League games, the 25-year-old made his bow for the Boys in Green as he came on as a late substitute in the 3-0 win over Israel in Debrecen.
