Awareness camp on solar power generation to be held on Saturday

Camp to promote solar power generation in Puducherry to be held on Saturday PUDUCHERRY The Electricity department will organise a camp to promote solar energy under the Central government’s Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana at Kamarajar Manimandam, Karuvadikuppam on Saturday. The department in a release said the camp was organised to create awareness among the public regarding benefits of installing rooftop solar power systems in residential buildings, subsidy assistance provided by the Centre and the Puducherry government, application procedures and availability of bank loans, the release said.
