Avoid the F1 rush: AirAsia advises extra KLIA travel time Oct 2-4
AirAsia has issued a travel advisory for passengers using Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 between October 2 and 4. The warning is due to expected traffic congestion caused by the Formula 1 race weekend at the nearby Sepang International Circuit.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 29 — AirAsia advises all guests travelling through the Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2 to plan their journey, as higher passenger volumes and heavier traffic are expected in conjunction with the Formula 1 race weekend at Sepang International Circuit from Oct 2 to 4.
The airlines said guests are advised to arrive at the airport at least three hours before the scheduled departure time for international flights and two hours before the scheduled departure time for domestic flights.
