The Mangaluru City Police on Friday issued a traffic advisory in view of Mosaru Kudike programmes to be held in different parts of the city from Saturday evening, on the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmasthami, and urged people to avoid routes where the events are being organised.
In a statement here, Commissioner of Police Sudheer Kumar Reddy said the advisory was being issued in view of traffic congestion during last year’s Mosaru Kudike celebrations. He said motorists could take alternative routes to avoid traffic jams.
