Bangladesh were bowled out for just 54 in their second innings to lose their three-day tour match against a Cricket Australia XI by an innings and 38 runs, giving Australia’s bowling attack plenty to take note of ahead of next week’s first Test in Darwin.Campbell Thompson was the main contributor to Bangladesh’s collapse, taking eight wickets for 25 runs in the second innings at Marrara Oval. The 22-year-old left-arm fast bowler had taken two wickets late on Friday before returning on Saturday morning to claim six more as Bangladesh lost eight wickets for 35 runs.Marrara Oval, where the tour match was played, is different from Marrara Stadium, which will host the first Test from Thursday.Thompson made his South Australia debut last summer and has played only one Sheffield Shield match and two One-Day Cup games.
