Deputy Liberal leader Jane Hume says she won’t be announcing the Coalition’s migration policy when pressed by Afternoon Briefing host Patricia Karvelas.

“I’m not going to talk about numbers today, and I’m certainly not going to announce our own immigration policy,” Hume said.

“It’s very important, though, for us to understand exactly what the government’s policy is before the opposition would move, because that potentially sets our baseline.”
