Auroville Information Services will be established in every district across India: Auroville Foundation Secretary

The Auroville Foundation plans to establish information centers across every Indian district to promote its model of sustainable living and human unity. The announcement was made during an orientation program for Tamil Nadu government officials.

Auroville Information Services would be established in every district across India, along with satellite Auroville centres aimed at extending the township’s experiments in human unity and sustainable living, Jayanti S. Ravi, Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Gujarat and Secretary of the Auroville Foundation has said.
Ms. Ravi made the remarks during the interaction with a 63-member delegation of Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Group I officers visiting Auroville.
The delegation, included Deputy Collectors, Deputy Superintendents of Police, Asisstant Directors of Rural Development, District Employment and Labour Officers, District Registrars of Cooperative Societies and Assistant Commissioners of Labour.
As part of the orientation programme, the officers visited the Matrimandir.
