The Aurobindo Pharma Foundation has laid a new Cement-Concrete (CC) road in Mentada village of Ranasthalam manndal in Srikakulam district as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

According to a press release, the Foundation spent nearly ₹60 lakh for the construction of the new road following a request from the residents of Mentada and surrounding areas.

The locals had requested the company to construct a new road as villagers, employees and labourers were facing difficulties while riding their two-wheelers and and other vehicles on the damaged route. Driving on the road was difficult at night, the release said.
