Auckland man accused of murdering parents and attempting to murder brother named
Marc Govinden has been named as the man accused of murdering his parents and attempting to murder his brother in Auckland. The court has remanded him to a secure medical facility until his trial begins next year.

Police found Govinden's brother, Andrew, injured in Birkdale on 28 July.
Govinden was arrested at the scene, and police conducted a welfare check on his parents Raman and Rooksana, who were soon found dead at their Glenfield home.
