Attention - Evacuation Drills to Take Place in Riga

Participants in the drills will gather at Alexander Grin Boulevard near Uzvaras Park, after which they will be transported by buses to the Riga Secondary School "Arkādija" located at Melnsiļa Street, 6, where a training evacuation center will be set up.

During the drills, the organization of gathering, transportation, registration, and reception of residents at the evacuation center will be tested, as well as the interaction of the involved services and institutions. The completion of the drills is scheduled for the morning of September 19.

Today, drills will also take place at the biological treatment station "Daugava" of the company "Rīgas ūdens" located at Dzintaru Street, 60. There, the protection of a critical infrastructure facility will be practiced, including the use of training counter-mobility elements and the involvement of military personnel and volunteers.
