Atta Tarar accuses PTI of seeking unrest, vows to maintain public order

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has criticised PTI leader Junaid Akbar over his recent statements, alleging that the remarks indicate an attempt to create disorder and instability in the country.

In a post on social media platform X, Tarar alleged that neither Junaid Akbar nor PTI believed in peaceful demonstrations and instead sought to follow a course that could result in violence and bloodshed.

The information minister said the government was responsible for protecting citizens, securing their livelihoods and maintaining law and order across the country.

Tarar also termed PTI's protest call unlawful and said the government would not permit protesters to block roads or interfere with the daily activities of citizens.
