ATM stolen near Tiruvallur

An ATM operated by Hitachi Payment Services was stolen from Koodapakkam near the Chennai-Tirupati National Highway on Saturday. Local police are currently investigating the incident using CCTV footage and forensic experts to identify the suspects.

An Automated Teller Machine (ATM), reportedly containing a huge amount of cash, was stolen from Koodapakkam near Vellavedu in Tiruvallur, along the Chennai-Tirupati National Highway, on Saturday.
Police sources said customers found the ATM, operated by Hitachi Payment Services, missing on Saturday morning, and alerted the bank officials.
On being alerted by the bank employees, the Vellavedu police went to the spot and launched an investigation with the help of a sniffer dog squad and fingerprint experts.
