Former Vice President and African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has challenged President Bola Tinubu to publicly respond to questions reportedly raised by The Economist over about $20 billion worth of projects allegedly linked to Lebanese-Nigerian businessman Gilbert Chagoury, a longtime associate of the President.
Atiku said the issues raised by the international publication had elevated concerns about procurement, government contracts and cronyism under the Tinubu administration beyond Nigeria's domestic political space, insisting that the President could no longer dismiss te controversy as opposition propaganda.
