MANILA, Philippines - The junior high school student who went on a shooting rampage at the Ateneo de Zamboanga University on Tuesday got hold of the firearms in his father's car, the head of the Bureau of Customs said.
BOC Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno yesterday said he was told by Lt. Elias Jalani II, the gunman's father, that his firearms were in the car that took his son to school.
Nepomuceno told ANC that he was able to talk to Jalani after the shooting incident, and the suspended BOC officer said it was routine for him to bring his son to school.
But on Tuesday, it was only his driver that brought the boy to school.
