Association charts five-point community action plan for Yadavagiri

The Yadavagiri Residents’ Association (YRA) held its second community meeting on Sunday Yadavagiri Park, with residents drawing up a broad, community-led action plan for the sustained improvement of the neighbourhood.
The meeting expanded on the previous discussions on park improvement and focused on five key priorities - greener public spaces, better park facilities, cleanliness and waste management, safety and security, and stronger civic participation.
Mahesh Jigani, Assistant Commissioner, Mysuru City Corporation (MCC), Zone 4, and Sridevi, Environmental Engineer in-charge of Solid Waste Management attended the meeting.
The officials heard the residents’ concerns and participated in discussions on the way forward, including the practical steps required to address issues affecting the neighbourhood.
