Assamese film Rador Pakhi wins special jury award at Moscow festival

The Assamese feature film Rador Pakhi (morning sunshine) has received a special jury award at an international festival for women-made films in Moscow.
Director Bobby Sarma Baruah and co-producer Sulakhyana Baruah received the Super Mama Award at the festival held in the Russian capital from July 8 to 12.
The producers said on Tuesday (July 21, 2026) that the recognition marked an important milestone in the film’s journey across national and international film festivals.
Before featuring in the competition section of the International Film Festival—Made by Women in Moscow, Rador Pakhi was selected for the NFDC (National Film Development Corporation) Film Bazaar Co-Production Market and later premiered in the Indian Panorama section of the 55th International Film Festival of India in Goa in 2024.
