NEW DELHI: India added five medals on Wednesday as Mirabai Chanu ended her long wait for an Asian Games medal with a silver in weightlifting, while the men’s and women’s skeet teams, Jay Meena and the men’s badminton team won bronze medals.India’s overall tally now stands at 12 medals - one gold, five silver and six bronze. India’s lone gold has come from the women’s cricket team, which retained its Asian Games title on Tuesday.Mirabai ends 12-year waitMirabai Chanu finally won her maiden Asian Games medal after finishing second in the women’s 49kg weightlifting event.
