The 20th edition of Asian Games , beginning from September 19, 2026, in Aichi-Nagoya in Japan, would feature 45 countries competing across 43 sports. For India, the broadcasting and streaming rights of Asian Games 2026 have been acquired by Sony Sports Network. The high-octane tournament is set to be broadcasted in four languages of Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.

The game is set to be held in Japan for the third time after being hosted by Tokyo in 1958 and Hiroshima in 1994. Expectations are high for the Indian contingent’s performance in the multi-sport tournament after clinching the highest ever tally of 107 medals in the last Asian Games in 2023.

The Asian Games will be available to stream for Indian viewers on Sony LIV app. This allows the viewers to catch all the action from the field on mobile and laptop. However, this feature is only available to subscribers.
