Mr. Owaisi was speaking to the media after visiting five of the 17 centres functioning in Yakutpura. He was accompanied by Yakutpura legislator Jaffar Hussain Meraj. They reviewed the functioning and the arrangements made by officials.
Mr. Owaisi said that 57,140 electors had been categorised under ‘anomalies’ and appealed to them to approach these centres and complete the required process.
“Please go to these centres with your Aadhaar cards and respond to these notices,” he said, adding that electors needed to respond to ensure that their names were considered for inclusion in the final SIR electoral roll.
