As of JDK 27, Oracle engineers will thus stop maintaining the macOS/x64 port
Oracle has announced the deprecation of the macOS/x64 port for JDK 27, citing the high maintenance burden as Apple transitions to AArch64 architecture. The company intends to remove support in future releases unless a community of developers steps forward to maintain it.
