Perambalur MP K. N. Arun Nehru has urged Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to expedite the construction of three road over bridges (ROB) in Tiruchi.
All three bridges that are being built near Tiruchi Railway Junction, Tiruchi Fort Railway Station and Manakkal near Lalgudi have run into delays, he pointed out in a representation submitted to the Minister in New Delhi recently.
While the ROBs near Tiruchi junction and Manakkal are being executed jointly by the Railways and the State Highways Department, the one coming up near the Fort Railway station is being executed by the Railways in association with Tiruchi Corporation.
