Art therapy held for elementary class students

Swami Dayananda Vidyalaya in Tiruvarur recently implemented a 10-session art therapy program for elementary students. The initiative aimed to improve student concentration and emotional regulation.

A 10-session art therapy exercise was conducted recently for a batch of elementary class students at Swami Dayananda Vidyalaya, Manjakudi, in Tiruvarur district. The objective was to improve the concentration of students in the classroom.
The exercise, conceived by Shruti Aravind, a class XI student of Sishya in Chennai, and tested at Swabodhini, a Chennai-based institution for special children, was conducted at Swami Dayananda Vidyalaya, Manjakudi. A total of 100 students in class 4 and 5 participated in the exercise conducted by school teachers twice a week.
