Art teacher found dead at poultry farm in Perambalur

A 50-year-old part-time art teacher was found murdered at a poultry farm in Perambalur district. Police have identified three suspects and are currently conducting a search for them.

A 50-year-old part-time art teacher was found dead with injuries at a poultry farm in Kunnam in Perambalur district on Friday.
The victim has been identified as R. Pugazhenthi, a resident of Periya Thirukonam in Ariyalur district. He worked as a part-time art teacher at a government school in Kallagam in Ariyalur district.
According to police sources, Pugazhenthi frequently visited the poultry farm owned by his relative on Periyammapalayam Road in Kunnam. He had visited the farm on Friday and was later found lying in a pool of blood with an injury on his hand.
On receiving information, Kunnam police rushed to the spot, recovered the body, and sent it to the Perambalur Government Hospital for an autopsy.
