Gabriel Martinelli 's Arsenal future has taken another significant turn, with David Ornstein reporting that Al-Hilal are now pursuing a deal for the Brazilian winger.
There has been plenty of speculation surrounding Martinelli over recent weeks, but this latest update provides something much more concrete, with talks now underway and Arsenal's asking price reportedly set at around £60million.
According to Ornstein, there is no agreement yet, but discussions are ongoing between Arsenal and Al-Hilal, as well as with Martinelli himself.
Perhaps the biggest development from Ornstein's update is the first clear indication of the sort of fee Arsenal are looking for.
The Gunners reportedly want in the region of £60million to sanction Martinelli's departure.
Just Arsenal has followed the uncertainty surrounding the 25-year-old closely. Martinelli previously rejected the possibility of moving to Türkiye , while several other potential destinations have subsequently been mentioned.
