AROI annual conference focuses on precision oncology
The Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI) held its annual conference in Tamil Nadu to discuss advancements in precision oncology. Experts emphasized that effective cancer care requires a combination of advanced technology, accurate diagnosis, and a patient-centric, multidisciplinary approach.

The Association of Radiation Oncologists of India (AROI), Tamil Nadu & Puducherry Chapter, organised its annual conference on September 12 and 13 here on Saturday.
The conference brought together approximately 300 delegates, including leading radiation oncologists, medical professionals and experts in cancer care from across Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and other parts of India.
The conference aimed to provide an important platform to enlighten advances used at International and National level to grass root level to achieve cure and better quality of life for cancer patients.
Organisers said the conference would also help in sharing the latest advances in radiation oncology, discussing evolving treatment strategies, exchanging clinical experiences and strengthening multidisciplinary cancer care.
