NAGPUR: A year-old grudge allegedly culminated in a brutal attack when a former tenant armed with a sword and knife stormed his ex-landlord's house in Amar Nagar under MIDC police station limits on Tuesday morning. The violent assault left one woman dead and an elderly couple seriously injured.The deceased, Sangeeta Chaudhary (40), had been staying with her sister Vanita Dahat for the past few days. Police said she became an unintended victim of the attack and died after her throat was slit with a sword.The accused, Roshan Taral (30), a resident of Narkhed in Nagpur district, allegedly barged into the residence of his former landlord Dharmapal Dahat (51) and his wife Vanita (48) at around 9 am. Investigators believe the attack was driven by resentment that Taral had harboured since leaving the Dahat family's premises about a year ago.
