Real estate investor Ardstone has been granted planning for a €356 million apartment scheme on former Jesuit lands at the corner of Sandford Road and Milltown Road in Dublin 6.
An Coimisiún Pleanála has upheld Dublin City Council’s earlier decision to grant planning for the amended 562-unit development in the face of objections from local residents.
This is Ardstone’s third planning application for the site. The previous two have been subject to High Court judicial reviews. Residents could still seek a third judicial review to block the current permission.

“The latest application follows a substantial redesign of the proposals by Ardstone in response to concerns raised in legal challenges to the two previous permissions for the site,” Ardstone said.
