Architects of Grand Egyptian Museum to design startup museum in Bengaluru, first phase to be ready by 2028
Heneghan Peng Architects has been selected to design the new Museum of Innovation, Startup & Technology (MIST) in Bengaluru. The project is a public-private partnership aimed at documenting India's technological journey and will be located within a repurposed factory site.

Dublin-based Heneghan Peng Architects consortium, designers of the Grand Egyptian Museum in Egypt, the Salt Works Complex in Germany, and the National Gallery of Ireland, will design the Museum of Innovation, Startup & Technology (MIST) in Bengaluru. Phase 1 of the museum is targeted for completion in 2028.
Registered as Karnataka Technology Innovation Museum Foundation (KTIMF), MIST is a Public-Private Partnership between the not-for-profit UnboxingBLR Foundation (51%) and the Department of Electronics, Information Technology and Biotechnology (ITBT), Government of Karnataka (49%). The museum will document India’s journey in the world of innovation, start-ups, and technology.
