Aragen Life Sciences begins operations at a high-potency development manufacturing platform in Hyderabad

Aragen Life Sciences has launched a new high-potency manufacturing platform in Hyderabad to support the development of complex drugs like oncology therapies. The company is currently preparing for an IPO to fund further expansion of its research and manufacturing capabilities.
Why it matters
This expansion signals continued growth in India's pharmaceutical manufacturing sector and highlights the increasing demand for specialized drug development services.
IPO-bound contract research, development and manufacturing organisation (CRDMO) Aragen Life Sciences has begun operations at Aragen OneHP, a high-potency development and manufacturing platform at its Nacharam campus in Hyderabad.
Aragen OneHP spans around 15,000 sq ft and operates one manufacturing line with a designed capacity of 500-600 kg of active pharmaceutical ingredient per year. It can support highly potent compounds, including cytotoxic molecules and targeted oncology therapies. The facility will also lay the foundation for future expansion into advanced modalities such as antibody-drug conjugates and peptide-drug conjugates, the company said on Wednesday (October 7, 2026).
For customers, the platform will provide an integrated pathway from milligram-scale discovery through process development and multi-kilogram cGMP manufacturing.
