APSSDC’s Project Vasudha opens doors for Andhra nurses in Germany

Three nurses from Andhra Pradesh have travelled to Germany for language training and employment under ‘Project Vasudha,’ an initiative of the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) to facilitate career opportunities for qualified nurses.
Before travelling to Germany, the first batch of candidates nurses - Namita Kaki, Sanaya Singh and Srimadhuri Korra, from Aditya Nursing College, Kakinada underwent German language training in Rajahmahendravaram
They will initially receive a monthly stipend of €1,200, inclusive of food and accommodation, while undergoing six months of B2-level German language training in Germany. They will also complete the professional recognition process required for employment. On successful completion of the language training and professional recognition process, the nurses will receive a monthly salary of €3,400.
