APSPDCL first discom in Andhra to cross one lakh rooftop solar connections, all for SC and ST homes
APSPDCL has become the first power distribution company in Andhra Pradesh to provide one lakh rooftop solar connections, specifically targeting SC and ST households. Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (APSPDCL) has become the first among the power distribution companies in the State to reach one lakh rooftop solar connections.
Under the Utility-Led Aggregation (ULA) model, the company has connected one lakh rooftop systems of SC and ST families to the grid, which together have a capacity of 210 MW.

APSPDCL has also emerged as a front runner among the power distribution companies at the national level under the ULA model, giving Andhra Pradesh the fourth place among the States in terms of installation of solar systems.
