APSDRF, police conduct flood rescue mock drill
The Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Response Force and local police conducted a mock flood rescue drill in Eluru district. The exercise aimed to train personnel and educate residents on emergency procedures and the use of life-saving equipment.

The Andhra Pradesh State Disaster Response Force (APSDRF), in coordination with the Eluru district police, conducted a mock flood rescue drill on the banks of the Godavari at Rudramakota village in Eluru district on Friday.
Officials of the Revenue Department, the police and the APSDRF participated in the exercise, which demonstrated rescue operations for people stranded during floods. APSDRF personnel also explained the methods of rescuing victims trapped in floodwaters and providing first- aid.
The teams showcased the use of life-saving equipment, including inflatable boats, ropes, life jackets and floodlights, during the drill.
