APSCHE chief calls for translating research into products at RISTAM 2026

The true barrier between education and innovation is not a lack of ideas but the gap in translation, industry co-investment, and management capacity to scale research into products, said S. Vijaya Bhaskara Rao, Vice-Chairman and Chairman (I/C), Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) at Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV) in Tirupati on Monday.

Mr. Bhaskara Rao, along with SPMVV Vice-Chancellor Uma Vennam and United Nation’s Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) Publication Board Chair Daniel Gustafson, unveiled a souvenir during the inaugural session of International Conference on Research Innovations in Science, Technology and Management (RISTAM) 2026 at Indira Priyadarshini Auditorium.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Bhaskara Rao said, “RISTAM 2026 is exactly the kind of platform that closes India’s translation gap — turning published research into deployable science, technology and management practice. Such conferences become meaningful when they translate these policy goals into measurable outcomes.”
