K.M. Subramanian, president of Tiruppur Exporters Association, has been appointed to the Board of Trade by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade. As many as 40 members, including Mr. Subramanian, have been nominated to the Board from different backgrounds. The Board plays a key role in advising the Union government on matters related to trade development and export promotion.
