As 9to5Mac previously reported , some iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max users experienced crashes when Face ID was unable to properly authenticate them. Apple promised a fix was coming this week, and now it has delivered via iOS 27.0.1.
Out of the listed fixes in Apple’s release notes, only the Notification Center and Control Center issue applies to all iPhone models.
