Apple adds AI tools to Creator Studio in major update

Apple has released a significant update to its Creator Studio suite, integrating AI-powered editing tools across apps like Final Cut Pro, Pixelmator Pro, and Logic Pro. The update includes features like generative fill for images and enhanced motion graphics capabilities.
Why it matters
The integration of AI into professional creative software marks a shift in how content creators produce media, potentially increasing efficiency and lowering barriers to complex editing tasks.
Apple has added new artificial intelligence features and editing tools to Apple Creator Studio, updating Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Keynote, Pages and Numbers.
The update brings MotionVFX content to Final Cut Pro for Mac, introduces a new image-editing tool in Pixelmator Pro, expands the Content Hub to include video assets, and adds beta assistants to Logic Pro and Apple's productivity apps.
The updated package will be available as a free App Store update for existing Apple Creator Studio subscribers in November.
In Final Cut Pro for Mac, Apple has integrated MotionVFX directly into the app. Editors will be able to access templates, graphics, titles, transitions and tools including rotoscoping, tracking and colour grading without leaving the software.
