Police are working to identify the body of a man that was found in the water off Poole.
Dorset Police said it received a report that the body had been spotted in the area of Sandbanks Quay at 08:38 BST on Wednesday.
He is described as white, around five feet eight inches tall, of medium to stocky build, unshaven with no beard and believed to be aged in his 50s with short brown hair.
The force said the body was recovered by the coastguard and the force's marine unit and are appealing for the public's help.
