This reflects ongoing labor relations and administrative policy shifts within the Andhra Pradesh state government regarding public sector compensation.
The AP JAC Amaravati has welcomed the appointment of the 12th Pay Revision Commission (PRC) and thanked the State government for implementing several assurances given by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu during his meeting with the employee unions on September 5.
In a statement on Thursday, AP JAC Amaravati chairman Bopparaju Venkateswarlu and secretary-general Palishetti Damodara Rao said the government had issued G.O. Ms. No. 200, appointing the 12th PRC as assured during the September 5 meeting.
They urged the government to ensure that the PRC submitted its report within six months instead of the one year prescribed in the order. With data available and technology having improved, the process could be expedited, they said, adding that a delay could cause financial loss to employees.
