Addressing the media in Vijayawada on Monday (August 24, 2026), the association said that despite multiple representations, the government has maintained silence on the dues amounting to ₹40,000 crore. The government should abandon its “indifferent” approach and resolve these issues, they demanded.
APJAC-Amaravati chairman Bopparaju Venkateswarlu stated that employees had repeatedly submitted representations and participated in discussions, appealing to the government, but no concrete decisions had been made yet. He questioned the delay in acting on assurances reportedly given before the elections and stated that prolonged discussions without outcomes were causing frustration among employees.
