Why it matters
Land resurveys and transparency are crucial for farmers' livelihoods and property rights, impacting economic stability and preventing disputes in rural areas.
The Andhra Pradesh Rythu Sangham State vice-president Marrpu Suryanarayana and the association’s Vizianagaram secretary B. Rambabu urged officials on Tuesday to provide farmers and property owners with details of land surveys in respective villages completion.
The leaders staged a protest at the Collector’s office. Mr. Rambabu said that farmers could face many difficulties if they were not informed about the extent and boundaries of their lands, and details of owners adjacent to their lands.
