AOSP Source Releases Are So Late Developers Disassemble Libraries to Report Bugs
Developers are reporting a critical bug in Android's bionic library where wide string functions incorrectly handle non-ASCII characters. The issue stems from a discrepancy between public AOSP source releases and the actual code shipped in recent Android builds.
