PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim's political secretary Azman Abidin has been appointed as the "parliamentary coordinator" for Ampang to ensure the effective delivery of government aid and initiatives in the federal constituency.
Azman said Anwar entrusted him to serve in the role to ensure government initiatives were delivered in a more organised, efficient and effective manner.
In a statement, he said he would be liaising directly with the Prime Minister's Department's implementation and coordination unit and relevant government agencies.
